Packing took place at St. Peter’s on January 15. Several hours were spent, carefully readying the following for their departure on January 21. 23, 50 lbs Suitcases will be taken. Contents: 1. Baseballs, gloves and bats, Soccer balls 2. 220+ Cleanly kits, containing toiletries, lotions,& combs.
Other items: nail polish, hair barrettes and fancy hair adornments. 3. Creative craft supplies, play dough, crayons, felt pens, writing materials. 4. Multiple packs of supplies for Teachers. 5. Multiple packs of supplies for Students. 6. 35+ eyeglasses with cases. 7. Totaling 1/2 ton of Personal aid and supplies
Items Taken to Nicaragua
All those traveling to Nicaragua are allowed one full-size suitcase and one carry on suitcase. They have generously donated their full size cases to pack with these supplies.
They will all be limited to the amount of personal clothing and items that will fit into their carry-on.
Volunteers don't get paid, not because they're worthless, but because they're priceless.
A person's true wealth is the good he or she does in the world.
